Nestled in the heart of South Mills, this thoughtfully reimagined residence blends timeless Orlando charm with refined modern living. Designed by Concrete to Cotton and executed by Hardwick General Contracting, the renovation transformed the front portion of the home through a carefully curated architectural intervention focused on both functionality and character.
The renovation begins with a completely new front courtyard and entry sequence that extends gracefully into the home, flowing through the foyer, breakfast nook, living room, and private office. The expanded entry experience creates a warm and intentional transition into the home, highlighted by custom built-in cabinetry in the foyer and a striking new front door.
Natural light pours through new Andersen arched windows, illuminating the warm white oak flooring and carefully layered architectural details throughout the main living spaces. The newly designed breakfast nook features an integrated arched seating area finished in Venetian plaster, creating a sophisticated yet inviting focal point. Beyond, the living room was fully reimagined with a new fireplace and a more open, comfortable layout designed for both everyday living and entertaining.

The renovation concludes with a custom enclosed private office finished with tile flooring, offering a quiet and refined workspace seamlessly integrated into the home’s new design language.
Exterior improvements include a newly installed driveway, refreshed landscaping, and upgraded electrical systems throughout the addition, giving new life to this classic South Mills residence while preserving its original character.
As with every Hardwick General Contracting project, performance was just as important as aesthetics, featuring foam-filled CMU construction for enhanced efficiency, comfort, and long-term durability.
