As with all technical luxury home projects, this one required a lot of hard work, a strong team, and great clients – We are extremely thankful and proud of the accolades we received at this year’s Parade of Homes.

Central Florida residential luxury custom home builder and remodeler Hardwick General Contracting is pleased to share that our 2020 home remodel project, the Tuscan Farmhouse Transformation, has been honored as the Grand Award winner for the remodeling category in the 2020 Orlando Parade of Homes. The award was announced at the Parade of Homes Orlando awards ceremony on September 3 at the Lake Mary Events Center. This award reflects the HardwickGC team’s ability to deliver what our clients want in a residence, and, at the same time highlights recognition from our peers in the Central Florida homebuilding industry.

The 67th Annual Orlando Parade of Homes took place on July 18-26, 2020. Each year, the Parade is presented by the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA), the authority, educator and promoter of the housing and building industry. Hardwick General Contracting showcased our remodeling project alongside Central Florida’s most inspiring homebuilders and designers. Each entry was judged by building professionals from across Florida and out of state on the quality of craftsmanship, products used, architectural design and more.

The Tuscan Farmhouse was designed for an active family of six, transforming an existing lakefront home in Winter Garden into an authentic Tuscan Farmhouse. The floorplan is centered around a soaring three-story great room. Keeping with an aged farmhouse motif, the home contains large timber trusses, reclaimed wood and brick flooring, raw edge wood and iron accents, stone fireplace and a gorgeous old-world master bath.
Hardwick General Contracting’s Tuscan Farmhouse Transformation won in a 1st place tie for remodeling in the $1.3M – $1.925M range. We were also chosen as the Grand Award Winner as this year’s top remodeling project. “As with all technical luxury home projects, this one required a lot of hard work, a strong team, and great clients – We are extremely thankful and proud of the accolades we received at this year’s Parade of Homes,” Greg Hardwick, President of Hardwick General Contracting, said. “This award reflects the dedication that our experienced team of employees and trade partners bring to their work every day. For more than 15 years, our team has worked together to bring our clients’ visions to life, and this home transformation was truly a labor of love.”
