Announcing Organizational Continuous Improvement

Hardwick General Contracting is thrilled to share some exciting updates about our organizational structure here at Hardwick General Contracting, as we continue investing in our people, processes, and the client experience. Our core values—Uncompromised Quality, Communication, Transparency, and Innovation—remain at the heart of everything we do, guiding our daily decisions and shaping the future of our company.

One of the biggest developments is the creation of our Preconstruction Department. This new team will handle everything from marketing and managing our lead pipeline to collaborating with clients on specifications and selections before their projects enter the construction phase. Leading this important initiative is Rafael Sanchez, our Preconstruction Manager. Rafael relocated from Texas to join our Central Florida team late last year and brings with him an impressive background as a bilingual Civil Engineer and seasoned Construction Project Manager, boasting over 9 years of experience in residential and commercial projects across the U.S. and Latin America.

Supporting Rafael, Nicole Palacios has come aboard as our Preconstruction Coordinator. Nicole works closely with clients to organize project specifications and owner selections in Construction Online. With a track record of leading projects from concept to completion, Nicole is detail-oriented and skilled in budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and cross-functional team collaboration.

I’m also proud to announce the well-deserved promotion of Brittany Grossmick to Project/Production Manager. Brittany will oversee our Construction Supervisors, focusing on day-to-day activities and proactive scheduling objectives in the field.  She is committed to working closely with the entire construction team, our clients and their design teams to bring these one-of-a-kind projects to fruition. Brittany’s leadership, organization, and dedication to both the project team and clients have consistently stood out, and this new role allows them to make an even greater impact.

We’re excited to welcome Chad Moore to the HardwickGC team this week as a Construction Supervisor, joining seasoned HardwickGC veteran Bryan McCleary in the field. Chad brings valuable experience and a proven track record in managing all phases of multimillion-dollar projects, ensuring timely completion, budget transparency, and fostering strong client relationships—all while delivering high-quality results.

Looking ahead, Nelda Rabens will join Hardwick General Contracting as Director of Operations starting in June. Nelda will work closely with myself, Donna, Rafael, and Brittany to ensure our core values drive decision-making every day. With 28 years of experience in luxury residential construction, Nelda is known for managing the entire lifecycle of multimillion-dollar homes across Florida and the Southeast, excelling in pre-construction planning, design selections, final walkthroughs, and exceptional client communication. Nelda’s expertise and leadership will be instrumental in supporting our team and enhancing the systems and structure behind every project.

Completing our team are, of course, Donna Hardwick, VP of Finance and Accounting, and Emily Texidor, our dedicated Office Manager, who will continue providing outstanding service to our employees, clients, and subcontractors.

These additions reflect our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and delivering a best-in-class building experience for our clients. We’re energized about the future and deeply grateful for your continued trust in our team.
