In 2020, we have been honored to receive the following awards and accolades from Central Florida and national organizations.

2020 Honors and Awards:

• Custom Builder of the Year – Master Custom Builder Council (MCBC)

On December 15, 2020, MCBC held its end of Year Holiday Dinner and Awards Ceremony. The MCBC is a Central Florida Organization pledged to maintain the highest professional standards in the home building industry. The Builder of the Year has helped promote the Ideals of the MCBC through contributions and service to the MCBC and the community while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

• 2020 Remodeler of the Year – Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA)
• 2020 Pinnacle Builder – GOBA

The Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) installed its elected senior officers and directors for 2021 at the annual Installation and Awards Dinner that was held at The Mezz in Orlando, Florida on Thursday November 19th. Members of the Greater Orlando Builders Association came together to celebrate their 2020 leadership and recognize the outstanding achievements accomplished throughout the past year. Greg and HardwickGC received two awards –The Stephen Gidus Award for Remodeling Excellence which recognizes a builder for their commitment to the industry, professionalism and customer service excellence and he received the Pinnacle Builder Award. A Pinnacle Builder is a builder member in good standing of the Greater Orlando Builders Association. This builder maintains 80% of its active sub-contractors as members of GOBA, actively recruits two new members every year, promotes “Doing Business with Members” and attends at least one meeting or event each quarter.

• 2020 Grand Award for Remodeling – Parade of Homes Orlando

The 67th Annual Orlando Parade of Homes took place on July 18-26, 2020. Each year, the Parade is presented by the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA), the authority, educator and promoter of the housing and building industry. The award was announced at the Parade of Homes Orlando awards ceremony on September 3 at the Lake Mary Events Center. This award reflects the HardwickGC team’s ability to deliver what our clients want in a residence, and, at the same time highlights recognition from our peers in the Central Florida homebuilding industry.

GOBA introduced the MAME Awards (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) in 1983 to honor and recognize the best in Sales, Marketing and Design and more. Every year industry professionals use the Majors as a springboard for careers and companies to reach the next level. Over the years, hundreds of award recipients have gone on to receive further recognition on the state and national level. The Hardwick General Contracting team was extremely surprised and honored to take home the Major Award for ALL five Custom Home and Remodeling categories- sweeping the awards in our categories.

HardwickGC was also selected as one of Orlando Business Journal’s 2020 Fast 50 Companies. Recognizing some of the fastest-growing private companies headquartered Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake counties. The firms are ranked based on their percentage of consistent three-year revenue growth from 2017-2019.

Ready for 2021 – New and Continuing Volunteer Activities

Greg was selected to serve on the City of Maitland’s 2021 Zoning Adjustment Advisory Board by its City Council. Hardwick was also elected to serve as President of the NAHB Builder 20 Club 11 – The Craftsmen for a 2-year term. The Craftsmen Builder 20 Club is comprised of 19 other leading Luxury Custom Home Builders across the US and also a member from Australia. He will remain as 1 of 2 Custom Builder representatives on the 20 Club NAHB Executive Committee and has also moved from President to Treasurer on the MCBC Leadership Team. Other notable industry positions include being a Lifetime voting member on NAHB’s Leadership Council and Greg will continue to serve on the Florida Green Building Coalition’s (FGBC) Board of Directors.

With 2020 in the rear-view mirror, we are incredibly honored to have been recognized so widely throughout the community and construction industry and we will continue to support both.
